My work derives from my love of painting, a love of light, form, and nature; a love of the silvery light of the Venetians, Veronese and Titian, and of the French masters, Delacroix, Renoir and Cézanne.
Painting for me is a means of discovering my relationship with the world, of letting my process tell me what the relationship means. Space, form and light are the emotive components in my painting. As I grow as an artist and as a person, I gain clarity in how to convey the underlying essences of what really resonates as truth.
