I believe that there is beauty in every moment if we only pause to see it. I do not pre-create or digitally enhance a photograph. I prefer to respond to the spontaneity of a shoot. I work both with digital and medium format film. I have often been told by my models that they do not recognize themselves. I have found that there is a real disconnect between women and their own true beauty which, I believe, is what my photographs capture.
